Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and wrap-up of our
annual cultural festival. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently
and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
2024 Festival Coordinator Intern Position (8 Months)
The Festival Coordinator Intern position will assist with developing and implementing festival and special event plans, marketing strategies, volunteer management and logistics. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and senior pavilion volunteers, practicing strong communication and leadership to ensure operational effectiveness.
2024 Summer Marketing Assistant
The Marketing Assistant position will assist the Executive Director with the development and execution of the 2024 marketing and promotions strategy for the festival and related activities, as well as designing and developing social media and website content to maintain an active online presence.
2024 Summer Program Assistant
The Summer Program Assistant will coordinate and implement the Youth Ambassador Program and support the planning and operations for Folkfest 2024, including the festival and associated activities. Serving in a peer leadership role, the Summer Program Assistant is essential to the success of the Youth Ambassador program.
2024 Summer Festival Assistant
Saskatoon Folkfest seeks to employ a youth who is passionate about supporting and promoting multiculturalism and diversity. The Summer Festival Assistant will assist with the planning and implementation of the 2024 Folkfest festival, special events and associated activities. They will assist with marketing, social media content, volunteer management and perform typical office administration tasks, along with supporting the Youth Ambassador Program.
2024 Summer Brand Ambassador (2 positions)
The Summer Brand Ambassador will assist with the planning and implementation of the 2024 Folkfest festival, special events and associated activities. They will participate in community marketing and promotional events as well as supporting the Youth Ambassador Program and perform typical office administration tasks.
