What is Folkfest?
- Folkfest is a multicultural festival that began in 1980, celebrating Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and Canada’s diverse communities through cultural performances, arts, and food.
When and where is Folkfest happening this year?
- Folkfest 2025 will take place at Prairieland Park, located at 503 Ruth St W, Saskatoon, SK S7K 4E4.
What are the hours of Folkfest?
- Folkfest 2025 will run August 15th and 16th from 3 PM – 12 AM
What is the cost to attend?
- Tickets are $10 per day.
Where can I buy tickets?
- Tickets can be purchased at the door, or preordered and picked up from our office or at the event center from 2 PM – 4 PM.
Is there an age limit for entry?
- No.
Is there a schedule of performances and activities?
- Yes, each pavilion will present its performances on the stage of Hall D & E.
Do children need tickets?
- Children under 12 do not require a ticket, provided an adult accompanies them.

How do I get to Folkfest?
- Folkfest is accessible by Saskatoon Transit, as well as Uber, and can be combined with Prairieland’s parking lot.
Is there a free bus or shuttle service?
- There is no free shuttle service, but by working closely with Saskatoon Transit, we have ensured that buses will be able to take you straight to Pairieland.
Are the venues wheelchair accessible?
- Yes, Folkfest is committed to accessibility and is working with Prairieland to ensure accessible access to the venue.
Can I bring a stroller?
- Yes.
Are service animals allowed?
- Yes.
Food & Beverage
Is outside food or drink allowed?
- No.
Are there vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or halal food options?
- Yes, each pavilion will provide essential foods from its representative cultures.
Are there alcohol sales? What is the age requirement?
- Yes, each Pavilion will sell its localized alcohol. The purchase and consumption of liquor is 19+ years.
