Ceud Mile Failte! One Hundred Thousand Welcomes to the Scottish Pavilion.
Experience Scottish culture through music, dancing, food and raising a glass to celebrate the
event, where every evening will be a ceilidh.
Enjoy great Celtic music and dancing on our stage with Back of the Bus, The Residuals,
Wenches and Rogues and Kim ‘n Jim. The Saskatoon Highland Dancers, the Glenlily Dancers
and Scottish Country Dancers will heat up the stage with their lively steps. The distinctive
sounds of the pipe and drum bands will bring out the spirit of Scotland. Saturday afternoon
brings back the Scottish breeds dog show—a crowd favourite.
Our Scottish kitchen the Swee and Spurtle will provide a wide variety of tastes to savour such as
haggis, meat pies and sticky toffee pudding. All of those delicious dishes can be washed down
with a bevvy from Poosie Nancy’s where there will be a selection of beer, Scotch and of course
the famous Dirty Wallace shooter.
A stop at the Stirling Market will satisfy that snack craving and don’t forget a Nessie slushie
which will wet the whistle of the wee bairns after their visit to the Children’s Area.
If Scotland has captured your heart, visit our vendors to get some treasures to take home, and
start planning your ownTrip to Scotland.
