Come on down to our pavilion and immerse yourself into this majestic land with food, drinks, music and more. Let’s celebrate the Saskatoon Highland Dancing Association’s 65th Anniversary, together! Here is what you can expect from our pavilion:
‘‘Reels’n’Strathspeys’ – Music & Entertainment: Join us for some foot stomping, hand clapping, heart pounding music and dance. Enjoy the sounds of Back of the Bus, Tilted Kilts, West of Mabou, The Residuals, and numerous Pipe and Drum bands. Experience the exceptional talent of the Saskatoon Highland Dancers, the Glenlily Dancers, and the Saskatoon Scottish Country Dancers.
‘Fairn’ – Food: At the Swee and Spurtle, try a variety of Scottish dishes, such as haggis, sausage rolls, and sticky toffee pudding. Stop on by the Stirling Market to pick up a nessie slushie and try some haggis nachos.
‘Bevvies’ – Drinks: Try a Scottish beer or a wee dram from our selection of Scotches at Poosie Nancy’s. Learn about our finest Scotch at the Tasting Bar. Down our Famous Dirty Wallace shooter in the name of “Freedom!”
‘Wee Bairns’ – Children’s area: Our sports and crafts will keep kids entertained. If they are lucky, they’ll catch a glimpse of the elusive Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, and they can have a visit with Merida!
‘Margaid’ – Gifts, Treats, Souvenirs, & Treasures await in the Market where vendors offer an exciting variety of Scottish wares and treats. Tapadh leat! Thank you for joining us! ‘Ceud Mile Fàilte!’
