We greet you with open hearts and a warm “Namaste”, hands joined together and heads bowed in respect. Your love and support in past years have been truly inspiring, motivating us to be part of this festival once again. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey!
Nepal is a true treasure trove of natural and cultural wonders. Home to 30.5 million people, this vibrant nation boasts an incredible tapestry of 126 caste and ethnic groups, 123 local languages, and ten religions. Despite our rich diversity in religion, tradition, ethnicity, culture, and language, we stand united as one family. This is why “unity in diversity” perfectly describes our way of life.
Nestled in a unique geographical position with altitudinal variations ranging from 67 meters to the majestic Mount Everest at 8,848 meters, Nepal is blessed with breathtaking natural beauty and is a hotspot for biodiversity. With over 240 peaks rising above 6,096 meters, our land is truly a mountaineer’s paradise. Although Nepal covers just 0.1% of the earth’s landmass, it is a haven for wildlife, hosting 8% of the world’s bird species, 4% of all mammals, 11 out of 15 families of butterflies, 6000 species of flowering plants, and 319 species of exotic orchids.
As the birthplace of Lord Buddha, our nation celebrates year-round festivals that bring color and joy to life. We take immense pride in Nepal’s stunning landscapes and warmly invite the world to explore them through mountaineering adventures. Our pavilion is a window into our cultural diversity, offering glimpses of heart-stirring landscapes and magnificent mountain displays.
We welcome you to join us and enjoy our traditional music, dances, and cultural shows, and, of course, indulge in our delicious traditional foods. Come, be a part of our dynamic and vibrant community!
