“Happy is a person in life who has the good fortune to sail the Aegean sea – Nikos Kazantzakis”. Come with us on a journey. Let us all rediscover the memories that have made the Greek Pavilion a mainstay of Folkfest for 40 years!
Savour the delights! Beneath the ruined temple of the Olympian gods, our travelers will begin an incredible Greek experience. Our lively Plaka with its original aromas and flavours, make even the gods of Mount Olympus envious. Let the playful mythological creatures amuse you as you enjoy the “kouzina” and our authentic taverna with their delicious food, dessert, and coffee selections. Gluten free and vegan items are available. Visit our agora. Stomp grapes and enjoy the tradition inspired by Dionysos.
Absorb the sounds of Greece and be energized from our band and dance groups. Come! Dance! Laugh with Aristophanes! Immerse yourself in the glendi of the land whose people are mindful of its eternity. Transcend time with a glass of the Nectar of the Gods and absorb the ancient song of the land, the ancient harp, and the bouzouki. Breathless scenery and an incredible pageant of culture and history await our travelers. Relax and experience the love, philoxenia (hospitality), and passion of the people. Follow the old man who extends his hand in welcoming without hesitation; he is Zeus, the god of hospitality. Your experience will have you saying, “It’s all Greek to me” for a long time. OPA!!!
A sincere thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and patrons. They all play an integral role in the ultimate success of the Greek Pavilion. THANK YOU, ΕΥΧΑΡΙΣΤΩ, EFHARISTO!!!
