Grab Something, Wave & Celebrate Folkfest at 40!!
Come celebrate with us and step into the warmth and hospitality of West Indies culture as we take you to many
ports of call. Dance, tempt your taste buds, and unleash your sense of adventure to create lasting memories.
Grab something and wave to the rhythm of the Steel Band music. Our crowd favorites, the fire breather, stilt walkers and limbo dancer will all be back this year.
We’re spicing things up at the Pepper Pot Kitchen to bring you Curry and Jerk Chicken, along with other taste tempting delights. The rumors are true; we have the best Rum Punch in the city! Also enjoy a `Jamaica-Me-Crazy`, Red Stripe, Carib or Ginger Beer at the Coconut Hut. We have a variety of delicious Island Drinks for the kids! The kids will be delighted with a variety of activities including face painting and crafts in the Children’s Area.
You never know if you’ll get to see a mermaid or a real live pirate! Our vendors have something authentic and interesting to take home or give to someone special. The party begins and ends at the Caribbean Pavilion, so join the Conga Line every evening at “Jump Up” at Carnival!
