Folkfest 2021 is a virtual festival – Culture Connect.
We are excited to include some new activities to connect patrons digitally with our member cultural communities – Folkfest pavilions.
For one of these activities, we would love to hear from you – our loyal Folkfesters: Is there a cultural topic or element that you've been curious about? Here is your chance to ask!
Become a part of Folkfest 2021 by submitting a Culture Question!
For example: "Hi! My name is Jane, and I have always really enjoyed the festivities at the Greek pavilion. Could you tell me what is the meaning of the exclamation,'Opa!', and what is the history behind the smashing of plates?"
Selected questions will be featured in the 2021 virtual festival - Culture Connect live streaming on Facebook and YouTube August 20 and 21 at 7 pm.
All questions submitted through our online form will be entered to win a cultural gift basket!
