Hungarian Palacsinta (crepes)
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of carbonated water
- 1⁄2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 pinch of salt
1: Combine the flour and eggs and mix until smooth. Then add the milk, carbonated
water, vegetable oil and salt, mix to combine. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
2: Grease the pan lightly with vegetable oil, then heat it over medium heat. Give the batter another mix, then pour 1⁄4 of the batter into the pan and move the pan so the batter evens out till it touches the edges. Cook the palacsinta for about 1 minute or a little longer until you can flip it with a spatula. Cook the other side as well for 1 minute, or until it turns golden brown, then remove from the pan.
3. Roll the finished palacsinta, or fold it into four. Then top with powdered sugar.
